Strike of the “intermittents” in Paris. Yesterday @ Théâtre de la Cité Internationale: no shows on stage. Instead: artists, technicians, staff, audience gathering in a beautiful moment of solidarity: NO to the increasing precarization of work. NO to the austerity measurements of right or so-called left governments running after Capital. Not only in France, but everywhere. Very touching: the Portuguese company Cao Solteiro says: “For the first time in fifteen years, we managed to get out of Portugal and show our work here in Paris. We want to play. But do it, go ahead with your strike. Because in Portugal we have nothing, but we also don’t have strikes, people don’t organize themselves like this.”
